The Custom 24 Piezo solidbody electric guitar is crafted from the tried-and-true combination of high-quality mahogany, topped with beautifully figured maple. The Custom 24 Piezo's mahogany body gives you natural tonal warmth, while adding character to its acoustic sound. The carved figured maple top not only looks fantastic, but it's a harder wood that adds attack and sustain to your tone. PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system

The PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system onboard the solidbody Custom 24 Piezo gives you access to natural-sounding acoustic tones. A control knob lets you blend the sound of this pickup with the sound of the Custom 24 Piezo's humbuckers, adding a woodier quality and extra sustain to your tone. There's also a separate output next to the Custom 24 Piezo's main output that lets you send just the sound of the PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system to an acoustic amplifier or PA. Now you can cover electric and acoustic parts with the flip of a switch.

Wide-ranging tone from 85/15 humbucking pickups

To create the 85/15 pickups, PRS took their Standard Treble and Bass pickup designs from 1985 and updated them with everything they've learned from decades of pickup manufacturing. The original '85 pickups were voted one of the 33 biggest pickup design innovations by Guitar Player magazine. The updated 85/15 pickups deliver much of the same vibe that has made the originals classic, while paying special attention to balancing their vintage character with the string-to-string clarity modern players demand.
