Handcrafted by PRS's elite luthiers, the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II uses only premium tonewoods: gorgeously figured maple for the top and back, mahogany for the sides. This particular combination yields a clear, yet resonant tone that suits any musical style. The mahogany neck is topped with a smooth rosewood fingerboard adorned with exclusive PRS artist bird inlays.
Pattern Vintage profile neck for enhanced playability
Some of the least visible but most powerful features of the 594 Hollowbody II include a neck feel that maximizes performance and comfort with an asymmetrical Pattern Vintage profile — a favorite among guitarists at Sweetwater. Though much like their Pattern profile, PRS's Pattern Vintage carve is slightly thicker to fill your hand in just the right way. And the strings will always feel silky smooth when playing and bending due to the guitar's 24.594" signature McCarty scale length — the origin of the "594" in the model name.
